Hegira Moya, H. Takahashi, YAMAAN, Aquarium - Kamishaku​-​G Nostal​-​G

From the room, I could always hear the sound of the Seibu Shinjuku Line train. Aquarium told me, "There is someone I want to introduce to you. You should bring your records." He took me to YAMAAN's room. When we arrived, Takahashi and Hegira had already arrived and they were listening to music and talking with each other. I greeted everyone who I was meeting for the first time. The musical conversation continued until the morning. It was a night in February 2018. Now, exactly five years later, I believe that this work exists as an extension of that musical conversation. Hegira continues to produce, Takahashi has opened Kankyo Records, YAMAAN performs nationwide with his wife Chiyori, and Aquarium's DJ is on a whole other level. In 2022, YAMAAN and his wife moved to Ibaraki, where his parents live. The pond in Shakujii Park where we all took walks has transformed into Shishitsuka Pond, and the sound of the Seibu Shinjuku Line we all heard has transformed into the sound of crickets. But I was happy to see a familiar nameplate (very new-agey, distinctive) and the rich musical conversation still present there. The story of this music about us will probably continue. For the time being, I have summarized the story so far on these two disks. I'm looking forward to seeing where these disks take us next.
